Crunchy M&M’S® cookies

by Bartuğ

Crunchy and soft inside – we love these cookies and the best part: peanut butter! Yummy.

Granted, these cookies are very sweet and tough, but sometimes you have to reward yourself – without feeling guilty. However be careful, there is a risk of addiction – we speak from our own experience. If you bake them too often, it’s your own fault.

An alternative solution would be to give it away! With these you will certainly give the young and old a delicious treat.

Here is the quick recipe:

  • 150 grams sugar
  • 20 grams sugar beet syrup
  • 100 grams peanut butter (100% peanut) or 100 grams margarine
  • 50 grams flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 100 grams M&M'S® e.g. with peanuts or chocolate lentils

Pour M&M'S® into mixing bowl, mince 1 second/speed 6 and transfer. The mixing bowl does not need to be rinsed.

Put the sugar and sugar beet syrup in the mixing bowl, stir together for 30 seconds/speed 4. If there are still lumps in the mixing bowl, repeat this process.

Mix the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together in a bowl and add to the mixing bowl.

Add the egg and peanut butter to the mixing bowl, mix 30 seconds/speed 6 using the spatula.

Pour the contents of the mixing bowl into the bowl with the crushed M&M'S® and mix in briefly with your hands or knead in.

Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Remove small portions from the dough with your hands and shape into balls, place on the baking sheet and press down.

Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes and allow to cool on a wire rack.
