Donuts or doughnuts are usually deep fried. Today we will try another option, namely baking donuts in the oven.

Everyone knows donuts – a hole in the middle some kind of fried dough confection. 🍩

Apart from being more healthy, you also do not need to wait for the yeast and, hence, will show you how to prepare these donuts quickly. 

The donuts are super fluffy and delicious, as it should be. The dough is easily prepared.

Ingredients

    Dough

  • 40 grams oil
  • 110 grams milk
  • 130 grams flour
  • 60 grams sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ packet of baking powder
  • ¼ tsp soda
  • Glaze & Decoration

  • 100 grams cake melts
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • Sugar decor, optional

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat.

Mix the oil, milk, sugar and eggs in the mixing bowl for 1 minute/speed 4.

Add flour, baking powder and baking soda to the mixing bowl, interval/knead function for 2 minutes.

Place the dough in a pastry bag and pour into the greased donut pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes and let the donuts cool down completely on a wire rack.

Melt the cake melts with the coconut oil in a water bath (or according to the manufacturer's instructions) and put the cooled donuts in the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with sugar decorations as you like and let them set.
