The sauce is easy to prepare. It lasts a long time when stored in a cool, dark place – a perfect alternative to processed tomato sauces.

- 2 red onions, medium-sized, in pieces
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 pinches of sugar
- 30 grams olive oil
- 2 pc. passed tomatoes (approx. 1000g)
- 300 grams tomato paste
- 25 grams balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp chili, optional
Chop the red onions with the cloves of garlic in the mixing bowl, 5 seconds/speed 5 and push down with the spatula.
Add sugar and olive oil, braise for 3 minutes/100°C/speed 1.5.
Place the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl, boil for 20 minutes/100°C/speed 1 (without mixing bowl lid, cooking basket as a splash guard).
Pour the finished, hot tomato sauce into sterilized twist-off glasses, close immediately and use if necessary.
