For breakfast on sundays, rolls are usually not missing. Here is a delicious spelt cheese roll recipe.
These cheese rolls with spelt flour and whole spelt flour are quickly prepared in the morning and baked within 40 minutes. A real delicacy.
Now we come to the recipe:
- 10 grams yeast
- 5 grams honey
- 300 grams water
- 200 grams wholemeal spelt flour
- 300 grams spelt flour (type 630)
- 2 tsp salt
- 2-3 slices of Gouda
Warm the yeast, honey and water in the mixing bowl for 2 minutes/37°C/speed 2.
Add the remaining ingredients, except for the Gouda, Interval/Knead function for 3 minutes.
Let the bread dough rest in a bowl for 30 minutes.
After the resting period, divide the dough into 12 pieces of equal size and grind the dough round, place in a brownie or muffin tin and top with Gouda.
Bake in a non-preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 40 minutes.
